Highland Children's Forum Constitution

Posted on

At a Special General Meeting on 10th December 2018, members of Highland Children's Forum adopted a new constitution to allow the Forum to become Highland Children and Young People's Forum Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). The application to become a SCIO will now be made to Office of Scottish Charitable Regulator (OSCR). Once the new SCIO is set up, Highland Children's Forum will be dissolved.

We look forward to this new chapter in the life of the Forum, as we also move from being an organisation that listened to children and young people with additional support needs to influence policy and practice to an organisation that empowers and enables children and young people with additional support needs to use their voices to directly influence policy and practice.

Many thanks to all who have supported our journey so far and we look forward to others joining us as we go forward.
